Copyright and Takedown
Last updated: 8 October 2026
We respect other people's intellectual property and expect users to do the same.
Our approach to content
- The lessons, exercises, dialogues, flashcards and games in Sprichst are written for the app. We do not copy exam papers, textbooks, or other publishers' material. If you think we did, tell us.
- Open-source and third-party components (fonts, code, AI models, voices, icons) are used under their licences, listed in the Third-Party Notices. Models whose licence forbids commercial use are not included.
- AI answers are generated text. We do not claim that they are free of resemblance to existing works. Report anything that looks copied.
- What users write to the app is private to their account. Sprichst has no public posts, comments or sharing, so it does not host user content for other people to see.
Reporting copyright infringement
Send a notice to our designated copyright agent:
Sripathi Vangapandla Rudolf-Ernst-Weise-Str. 34, 06112 Halle (Saale), Germany Email: sripathiyadav66@gmail.com
(US users: this contact is not registered as a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.)
Please include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed (or a list, if several).
- Identification of the material you say infringes, with enough detail to find it (the screen, lesson or URL).
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
Notices that are incomplete may not be actionable. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). Under the EU Digital Services Act (Article 16) we confirm receipt of a notice and tell you our decision, and we handle notices diligently and without arbitrariness.
What we do
On a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly, tell the person affected, and keep a record. We do not need a court order to act on a valid notice.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the US, the court for Halle (Saale), Germany) and to accept service from the complainant. We forward the counter-notice, and restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have started a court case. EU users may also use our complaint handling and out-of-court dispute settlement under DSA Articles 20 and 21.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.
